All Digital PhotoVoice

Here is one example of an all-digital PV project:

  1. Use Digital still cameras for shooting.
  2. Review photos on LCD screen or download to a computer for review on monitor.
  3. Select photos for consideration (edit) and place in separate project folder.
  4. Adjust color, contrast, cropping, and resize for use on web page.
  5. Import photos onto web page, and add descriptive text (eg., captions) next to them.
  6. Same as number four above, but for printing out onto paper for book, brochure, poster, etc.

This could also be adapted for video, with the writing designed for narration.

  1. Use Digital videocam for recording.
  2. Import footage into video-editing application such as IMovie or Moviemaker.
  3. Storyboard with clips.
  4. Edit the clips and insert into timeline.
  5. Record voice-over narration. Add music and sound effects if desired.
  6. Export to videocam tape or DVD, or export to a DVD authoring application, such as IDVD. Burn the DVD for use in a standard player.
