Literacy
There are several kinds of literacy to be learned or developed in a PhotoVoice project:

Visual.

This starts with the discussions of the topic and how to develop it.

How to show or illustrate a topic or subtopic in photos?

Which photos (of all those taken) show or illustrate the topic?

What do the photos suggest as further areas of investigation?

Verbal/Textual.

This can also begin with discussions of the topic.

What is the title or name of the topic? How to define it?

What important vocabulary is necessary for understanding the topic?

How to organize the information: paragraphs, sections, sidebars, etc.?

What voice does the student take in writing about the photo/topic?

What kinds of translation might be needed for understanding the photos? For example: languages, cultural norms, other background?

How to make an argument or presentation for the topic, either verbal or written?
